Helping you find the calm in all of the chaos

Hi, I’m Debbie and I want to work together helping you rediscovery your intuitive self in the challenges of the stress we face.

My Story

It’s probably no surprise that introduction to psychology was my favorite subject in high school and college. I was destined to be a counselor from an early age. While raising our four children, I spent 20 years as an educator, teaching regular education, gifted and talented, and ending my career in education as a school counselor.

Today, as a sole practitioner, my passion is to help individuals and families reconnect with their intuitive selves.
Along our journey together, we will explore how the mind and the body work together, producing your desired goals of becoming your authentic self. As your facilitator, I will help you in your process to achieve your holistic well being. Together you and I will find the calm in the chaos of life.

My Approach

Let’s “find the calm” in the “chaos” together. Rediscovery your intuitive self in the challenges of the stress we face.

As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and as a Licensed Professional Counselor my areas of expertise are Anxiety, Addiction, EMDR and Self-Guided Biofeedback. I maintain a private practice near the Texas Christian University Campus in Fort Worth and Aledo, Texas.

Through various grants, I developed programs throughout my career. Through self-guided Biofeedback, I help children and families struggling with anxiety, anger, and lack of focus and/or school attendance concerns. Using small group counseling and self-guided biofeedback, the program spread throughout the state of Texas.
